Jerry Tarde is the Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of Conde Nast's Golf Digest Companies, which oversees 30 international editions with 10 million readers and a wide variety of digital and video content. A graduate of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, Tarde joined Golf Digest Magazine as an intern in 1977 and has been its chief editor since 1984. He has won four first-place awards from the Golf Writers Association of America and a Silver Gavel Award from the American Bar Association for editing a series on discrimination. He is a National Trustee of the First Tee Program. He lives in Fairfield, CT, and Manchester, VT, with his wife, Beth.
