Jonathan Plutzik is the Chairman and principal owner of The Betsy – South Beach, a luxury hotel with a unique commitment to philanthropy, arts, culture, and education (PACE) programming, and home of The Writer’s Room. Formerly the Vice-Chairman of Credit Suisse and Chairman of video game designer Firaxis Games, Jonathan is Chairman of Fannie Mae’s Board of Directors. He is a board member of UJA Federation of New York, Vice Chairman of O, Miami Poetry Festival, and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He served 12 years as Chair of Coro New York, the city’s top leadership training organization. Jonathan received his B.A. from Brandeis University and his M.B.A. from the Wharton School.
