Sara Mark Lesk is Senior Educator and Manager of Art Around the Corner in the Education Division at the National Gallery of Art.  In this capacity, she creates multiple-visit learning experiences at the Gallery for students, teachers, and families in Title I schools in the DC region. Before coming to the Gallery, Sara developed multidisciplinary learning materials for the National Park Service, the Phillips Collection, the National Museum of American History, Hillwood Museum and Gardens, and others.   Sara also worked as a researcher, editor and editorial director at Time-Life Books and Time-Life for Children. Sara serves on the board of Live It Learn It, an experiential learning organization that brings underserved students to museums and other learning resources in DC.  She holds a BA in Comparative Literature from Stanford University and a Master’s degree in Museum Education from the George Washington University.
